What is it this time?

For the fourth time this year my traffic (counted by a scripted object) has dropped to about zero. Normally I get 20-30 visitors per day. I'm currently getting 1-4.

The last three times this has happened it's lasted weeks. I figured out what the problem was just once (the landing point was reset). The other two times it just straightened itself out.

Each time this happens I fail to make tier. When the proceeds of a land sale are exhausted I'm just going to close shop and give the rest of my land to the bots.

All this effort and I can't even make tier. Maybe I should just be ripping other people's work and running bots.

Made a custom for someone, seen it replaced within a week by some no-mod build with bad seems all over the place... The irony is that this place had al buildings set to no mod, seems all over them, and more expensive than what I ask, but they make it and I don't.

It's hard to fight the system, I know, if you're not constantly on promoting and advertizing, no matter how good you are, you get pushed out of the market.

The traffic issue has been an intermittent problem for some time. My traffic was stuck at 0 on Friday, it changed on Saturday but has now been stuck at that figure since saturday.

The traffic counter seems mostly to work. I had the zero-for-days problem, but it's currently working. Today's traffic: 10. No matter the traffic counter, though, it's my visitor counter that tells me the real deal, and right now it's telling me people aren't visiting.

Promotion, advertising, marketing? Apparently it's a full-time effort to make $125 tier. My ass. Ain't gonna do it anymore. Trying to create quality products with rinky-dink tools is enough work, and it returns squat.

All I can Say is summer is here and trade goes down.This month is my worst for a year .However I don't carry your tier,and will still get a tiny bit in my Xmas stocking.

I must see what the next one brings ,I must admit I am not optimistic!

The point, which may be lost in my whining...

The one time I found a problem (landing point was reset) makes me suspect something is broken every time this happens. That is, once I found a problem and fixed it and the visitor problem went away. The other three times I wasn't able to identify anything that prevents people from finding me in search or prevents visitors from arriving.

So, every time this happens I have to wonder...is something broken? Is there something I can do to fix this, or am I just screwed every time this happens?

I don't buy it. One week 20-30 visitors per day, the next 1-4. Night and day. It's happened four times this year, and it's only June. Four summers already?
