Does what it says on the tin - I ticked to be listed in places search 2 or 3 days ago and my shop still isn't showing up anywhere.

Does it take time to appear?

116 posts, and no doubt, 99% of those were annoying noob questions. I apologise in advance because there's bound to be more to come!

New search or old search? The old search you should see your location almost immediately. With the new search it should take 24 hours...48 hours tops.

If it's been longer then I'd submit a ticket.

Old and New :(

Can I submit a ticket if I'm just basic?

I'm pretty sure that with a basic account you just can't get live support. Just go here:

And click submit a ticket. It should allow you to.

I've been told different things, but in my experience it goes in new and old search right away. Make sure you have show mature listings clicked on if you are in a mature land! Seems that checkbox is off by default and I couldn't find my land for awhile.:p

It is listed in the Places search pretty much immediately. If you can't see it, are you looking low enough down the listings? See what you traffics number is and look down the listings to that number.

It can take several days to be listed in the new All search. Again, make sure that you are looking far enough down the listings. Better still, do an All search for your parcel's exact name - with mature checked and Any category selected.

That's a serious issue very easy to fix. LL as default has unticked the "Include Mature" box in search. So as default places in mature sims are not listed at all! :). I don't undesrtand why it is unticked if SL main grid is not for teens.

IMHO, because too many places carrying "adult" items have gamed their way to the top of every single seach result. Smarter choice is to keep your store on PG land unless you specifically sell "adult" content.
