I've come to love the skins of D-Skin and the clothing of LicoLico, so I'm looking for more things in that kind of style, for both male and female avatars.
Does anybody have tips for Asian things in general and Japanese in particular? Any shops that you can wholeheartedly recommend?

Depends on how you define "Asian". If you include India in that (some people do) I can recommend Skin Within, who do a *glorious* line of Indian skins (the Arya line), among others. I don't recall whether or not they have any Japanese or Chinese type skins, off the top of my head; but I'd say they'd definitely be worth checking out just in case.

I'll second the opinion on Bare Rose - great quality at a reasonable price.
I, too, am looking for quality traditional-style east-Asian (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc) clothing, hair, shoes, etc. Also (shameless plug) if anybody has high quality goods of this nature and is interested in some very high-end store space, please contact me via PM. _____________________

I have lots of LM's in my inventory if you catch me in-world I'll pass them on to you. I also stumbled on some beautiful Asian skins at Nyte & Day which is primarily clothes...but upstairs they've got some great skins.
Incidentally....I found all the coolest stuff just be searching key words 'Japanese' 'Asian' and 'Chinese'. There's tons of great places if you search that way. Also try using 'Kimono' 'Geisha' or 'Samuri' for searches. |

Depends on whether you mean traditional, neko, anime, punk, or everyday Japanese. A lot of both are around. Search on Japan for (more) traditional stuff, search on neko or anime for more modern stuff. There's an entire Japanese sim dedicated to newer edgier stuff like neko, punk, anime, and several traditional Japanese sims.

Sin Skins have an Asian skin called "Sakura" in their Ton Visage range. There's five (?) make-up options and two skin-tones.
Tete a Pied have an "Asiatique" skin, and there's a good range of tones at Skin Within. Kin and O-Style for hair, variety of styles and the dark colours are very well done. _____________________

Mau's and Mei's has some fabulous Japanese hair and a few skins as well, as well as swords etc. The hair is downstairs.

Hi Dakota, i'm a kimono and japanese goods designer. If you are looking for Japanese accesories you can go to Semple Truth. I have a shop there it's called "Jocko Domo". But every shop there is japanese themed, in fact is a whole japanese sim.
