What's the most expensive object in SL, either in-world or on XStreetSL?

I am not talking about businesses, or terrain files, or mutiple objects like a fully furnished house, I mean a single object (but could be made of multiple prims of course).

A platinum Sexgen bed comes to mind, maybe a Palace, but are there more expensive objects out there?

/me bets it would be one of the more rare Starax pieces.

I saw, about a year ago, an Achilles that was for sale for L$75k and that's not one of the really-rare ones.

I've seen big sets of full perm animations for 100K before. Don't remember where anymore. (and they weren't very good ^_^)

Edit: Oops, I guess this doesn't fit your criteria. Sorry!

That price would not even buy one of the bones in the Skeleton I was talking about.... :)

Go look for Skeleton and search price highest...... :)

I was at an auction once when an hour of the time of the mistress of a bordello I worked at was purchased for 180,000$L.

Most expensive thing I have seen so far was a one-only gown to be auctioned for charity, but I have forgotten its exact price. 200,000 $L maybe?

Not to be cynical, but as long as copybot exists, the price of the most expensive object is essentially zero.

Being able to show it to your friends without getting permabanned is the expensive part.

I guess it depends if we're including art works; the Starax mention suggests we are. There are some "living" artists whose works command prices similar to Starax collectibles. (I'm thinking of Dancoyote Antonelli's hyperformalist pieces, but I'm sure there are others.)

Or, if the objective is to actually *buy* the most expensive object, I can craft one heck of a plywood box. ;)

Artwork by Dancoyote Antonelli or Filthy Fluno can cost upwards and above 40 thousand. You won't regret the purchase of one or two of these artists' works

And I wasnt cheap either - Hal forked out a small fortune for my ex's land, the Chaska house called Jigsaw1 - and me (I came with the house)

We paid 36,000L for our Yacht.

There are yachts that are more expensive than that by other makers.
