If I change one word in my parcel's "description", would that cause my listing to drop from the ALL search until the next update (or two)? Last night I was at position X in the ALL listing. This morning I changed one word in the description and now the parcel is not found in the ALL search. I am not in the position I was in, nor remolety close. When I do a search for it directly, my name comes up, along with other names (i.e. those who have it in picks)... the group comes up - but not the location itself. By the way, I am still in the PLACES search - but am wondering why I would have dropped off of ALL.
I have since changed it back to how it was hoping this helps restore things
Thoughts?

Maybe the one changed word happens to be on the "secret forbidden adult words list". Parcels that contain adult words in description don't appear in All Search unless you check the "Adult" check box.

No. Changing anything won't cause your html page to drop out of the database and rankings. The effect if the change occurs at an update, and updates occur every 12 hours.
However, if you removed a word that you ranked well for, and suppose it's the only instance of that word that's related to your html page, then after the next update you page won't rank at all for that word.

hmmm. I didn't remove the word for that searching, if anything I added a variance to it, but retained the word that the search was being done on. Certainly it is not one of the no-no words.
I am found in Places, but not in ALL. Again, when I search for the store name, the group comes up, I come up and people either in group or with the store in picks comes up, but not the parcel.
I am in an IM with someone from Support, but I must say, I wish there was a number to call. So far I have been waiting for a response for 10 minutes - this after they greeted me. :/

Update....
Chatted with a Linden who told me that any change to the parcel name or description can remove the parcel from the ALL search listing until the next update (i.e. within 24 hrs.) because in changing the description, you are changing the keywords search.
So I guess I play the waiting game and see what happens tomorrow... and hope people use either places or classifieds when purchasing services I sell. Time will tell.

If what you were told is true, then it's something new. It didn't used to be like that.
