Help! Cant log in - stuck on clearing cache

Hi there,

Can someone help please?

I tried to clear my SL cache today. From memory the steps i followed were: edit/network/clear cache/OK ... then i logged off and tried to get back in. I got the usual "detecting settings"etc but then the logon got stuck on "clearing cache" and wouldnt progress. I tried several times and also rebooted my computer with no success. I also cleared my computer's cache via Windows. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the SL client but still have the same issue. Have also tried logging in under an alt - same problem occurs.

Is it me or a bug or what? Any ideas?

it takes a long time wait 5 min if that wont work you can delete the cache manually
usually C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Application Data\SecondLife\cache (where %USERNAME% is your Windows logon username).
if that fails re-install sl

Took me a while to get back in - 3 days in fact. Had to find and delete lotsa SL files - seems some were corrupt. Appreciate the help :)
