Anyone else tried running SL on their Samsung NC10? I loaded the current viewer today and was pleasantly surprised to be able to function in SL! SL wanted to default to an 800 x 600 size but running it frameless and at the native resolution of 1024 x 600, I have to say I'm really kind of impressed, even running it with the native 1 GB of ram.
Anyone else tried it?

not that NEtbook but im running it on an Asus EEEPC 1000H with 2 gig ram. works ok but it is a bit small with 1024x600 acutally... but it works and is good if you ar eon the road and do not have much space for a big laptop  or maybe in bed... it works good... |

SL on Netbooks

Interested to see that you guys have have found you can run SL on the NC10 and Eee PC. Im thinking of getting and NC10 for an extended trip i hope to make soon. Would be interested to hear of any issues you may have encountered (if at all) since your postings.
If your interested I have an existing netbook a Vye Mini S37 and amazing little machine with an 800mhz processor and 1Gig of RAM but only a 7 inch screen (touch screen though) it happily runs Vista Home premium. SL works with it (voice also) but the larger screens that your machines have plus the faster processors do appeal more to me.

I havee installed Windows 7 beta on my EEEPC and even with this SL works ok... tho as i mentioned above the screen is small I have set graphic details to low... No further issues so far... so Windows 7 and SL on a NEtbook works good for me... |
