sorry about that, but by posting this here you have more or less made chum of yourself. ppl love nothing more than a bit of self-righteous indignation at the thought of teens on the main grid.

anyone can report anyone and if they had no info for their account anyone could have reported them.. chances are one of them said something that gave away their age or the way they acted ..anything could have made them get AR'd.. A lot like to point fingers everywhere but themselves..you don't have to run around saying i am 13 to get banned for underage..it's not murder we are talking about.. they only need to have doubt to make someone have to prove their age..

i agree. but by posting this here there is a chance that some do-gooder is now going to complain to ll that you are also a teen, and ll can force you to jump through hoops to prove otherwise. plus there are people that love to judge and relish any opportunity to judge those that they figure somehow have put them 'at risk' of some far-fetched child sex charge.

I don't think you need to report someone for them to get a "No ID on file" thing. I think that's a process that finds faked info in the registrations and bans the person until the info is fixed. Mute the jerks. If they are behaving like this, then they aren't your friends, pure and simple. And if they keep trying to tick you off, AR them and keep ARing every time they screw with you. Then they can properly complain that they got banned for you reporting them

Very true.. I would just mute them and move on..they don't sound like very good friends anyways

If they keep creating new alts and you keep ARing them -- noting in the AR report that it is the same person -- eventually LL may even ban the IP addresses (they have done that in the past). ETA - BTW, you can only get caught in the middle of something if you allow it. Step back and don't allow these folks to control you in that way.

The best way to avoid being drawn into drama is to not respond at all.
Drama thrives on attention. Defending yourself against false accusations provides attention to the accuser. Thus, the more you defend yourself, the happier the accuser gets, which encourages more accusations so you will devote more time to your accuser through self-defense, and thus the cycle goes.
Ignore your accuser, and your accuser will get bored with you and seek someone more fun.
It's understandable at the outset that your friend confront you if your friend thought you were responsible for the banning, and that you would want to defend yourself at that point. But if the initial confrontation and your response do not resolve the issue, then it's an unresolvable issue. If it's unresolvable, any further time spent on it is wasted time, and that's when it becomes drama.
You have an understandable human impulse in that you want to be believed when you tell the truth, and have that acknowledged. Follow that impulse too much, though, and you'll waste a lot of time in drama wars. Sometimes someone else's opinion of you is important; you need to be comfortable in identifying the situations in which someone else's opinion of you isn't important, and act accordingly.
Seeking approval from someone who doesn't want to give it is a waste of your time.
