is secondlife worse than usual today

im getting sim ping times of 6000+ millisecs
it usually is worse on weekends but never been this bad and yes i tried all the usual fixes
even checked ping times fromt he router to secondlife.com and yahoo.com both aroudn 75-80 millisecs
just makeing sure its not something on my end

I had some problems with group information not performing, but a relog sorted it out.

Everything and I mean EVERYTHING is borked. I can't even position an item that I just purchased in my home. I can drag it out and drop it, but I can't turn it around or positon it where I want it to be.
Also, the groups I'm in are howling about various other borking issues.

oh i thought the flying thing was just me..i land then cant fly for agesss...and when i do its really faltering, ive only noticed that today and yesterday though. Also noticed i cant click on someone and pay them like i used to..i have to go to their profile and choose pay..which is a very small irritation i know. My super superrr whizzzy new pc was fabulous before yesterday...hmm wonder if its out of date already

Well it's the weekend and the grid just can't handle 64k of residents and bots, the bots were logged in before people so they get preference, and they don't buy stuff or wear stuff, they have no problems TPing faster than you can see them either.

Today has been gross,took forever to log in and when I got there after 3 minutes I hung bigtime. Hold on not done that for ever. Took me 25 mins to sort it .Did a check and cleared everything I know,Then went to the forum to check it out ,checked the Blog. Tried again .Super hang after 3 mins. So I detoxed the the entire system including vid card benchmarking ,then same bloody thing ,not happy bunny.However on the bright side sales were totally up so someone is online.

Fuunny I thought it was just me. I got so frustratd I couldnt fly I was sure it was me some how. I detached everything then logged out, uninstalled SL completely even my canidates and installed the older 19 standard again alone. came back in - ran like a charm!  Maybe it was luck maybe it was something else. Who knows. |

I never have good sim ping. always above 200ms I live with it though. It has alot to do with your connection to sl's machines too.
