Hi,
For a little while I have noticed that when I click onto an object that isnt mine in edit mode all details are blank, so I cannot tell who the creator or owner is or how many prims the object consists of.
When doing this previously I used to get these details but no longer, only if it is my own creation.
Does anyone have any idea how I can get the details to show again please? I havent altered anything at all in preferences with the exception of draw distance when i visited a place with huge items, and then altered it back to my usual distance afterwards.
Its a while since I cleared cache but nothing happened or altered then. I dont appear to have problems with anything else (apart from SL bugs lol), so am at a loss as to why this has happened. And no, I haven't got voice so that hasnt changed anything!
I would be most grateful for any help and while I am waiting for answers, anyone got any of that tasty pie that's given out in the forums? mmm

You can also "cheat" by having the edit window open and Right-clicking on the object. While the pie menu is showing for the object, the details will fill in on the edit window object details. Once you click somewhere and the pie menu disappears the object details in the edit window will also disappear.

Or right click, choose More> More> Inspect. This will show you the creator of every prim in the link set.

Thank you all for your very welcome answers, and so many ways I can sort this out. Much appreciated, thanks.
I havent tried them yet, as not inworld but will be fixing my problem later today. I had a feeling that someone would know about this. Great!
