This is my first post here so excuse me if I’m in the wrong area of the forum. My question is why can’t I access Adult areas with the latest version of Emerald but can with the latest Linden Lab release? When I use the official viewer I get the adult box to check but when I use the newest Emerald its grayed out. I had to give the official viewer admin authority to work but didn’t with Emerald. I’ve done fresh instals on both and cleared my cache already so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help.

Pep (thought that Emerald picks up the settings from the config file set by the LL viewer - you haven't got two sets of files in different directories, have you?)

Emerald viewer uses a different settings file than the official viewer. So you have to set the preferences again. Did you forget to set the ability to access adult content in the Emerald preferences?

Hello again. The official viewer and Emerald are in separate folders. I was able to set everything in the official viewer and everything except for checking the adult box in Emerald. In Emerald that box is grayed out and won’t let me check it even after several clean and reinstalls. I can access adult areas from the official viewer but not from Emerald.
