179sqm is what is listed to be 'Available for Land Purchase'
I want to buy 512sqm and donate it to goup but am close to my limit to go over my $75.00 (16,384sqm)
Soooo I abandoned 333sqm (179 + 333 = 512) in a back corner of my land and then purchased the better placed 512sqm.
WELL?? the systme still kicked me up into the next tier (now $125.00) EVEN though I dontated the new 512 plot to group right away?
I don't get what I did wrong?

It might be something to do with the timing--possibly the system doesn't register the land-abandonment until midnight PDT of the day it's abandoned, or something of that kind.
You should probably fill out a ticket, giving the exact times, sim and coordinates of the parcels involved, etc. If it IS a matter of abandonments not being recorded right away, and they haven't specified this anywhere on this site, then they are at fault, and the person handling your ticket should make it right (put you back down to the correct tier level).
On the other hand they may say 'it was your responsibility to look at your Account page before making the purchase, and verify that your Available number had gone up to 512m.'
But you can try.

thanks....I was thinking that along the same way...the abandonment might not register soon enough. Was in a hurry to make the purchase though as it was a cheap piece of 512 land. I'll do the ticket thing and maybe that will work.

But on the other hand, they really SHOULD specify if there's some time lag involved in having abandonments register, and they may make it right for you on that basis.
