I was sitting peacefully besides a lake when suddenly everything went smoky black where the ground used to be. I thought I'd been orbited for some reason, so I simply tp to my Av dumping ground thinking everything will rezz back but no...it doesn't - all I see is flexi grasses and flexi trees floating about on a grey inky smoky land.
Re-logging isn't helping.....and as interesting as it is - the novelty is wearing off now.
Anyone else having the same problem? Are we heading for yet more database issues ?

Hi Jinny, I had exactly the same problem although mine was also at the same time I was fooling around with graphic preferences.. I associated the two, but ya never know... It fixed itself when I went back to the original settings (anisotropic filtering off etc) Hope that helps Inc

No wish to be a scaremonger, but I've just logged out because I was losing inventory. Fortunately, I'd only rezzed copy stuff, but the funny thing is that it didn't do the 'usual' thing of failing to rez - it actually rezzed, stayed there for about a minute, then disappeared. Yes, I was wearing the right group tag, and no, it didn't find its way to my Lost & Found folder. A friend has recently experienced really heavy inventory loss, for no apparent reason, so it wouldn't surprise me at all that we might be heading for yet more database issues.

Seems that the asset DB is a bit sick at the moment. Yesterday I received the dreaded "not found in asset DB" error message on trying to attach a skin I made myself.
