Hey guys,

I have a free membership in SL. I was wondering where I can find stores selling well known brands. Do I have to move to the premium account in order to find these?

For the most partt, there are no well known brands selling roducts in SL. *Thankfully.* Most content is made by residents and is of excellent quality. They are the well known brands of SL and deservedly so.

No you don't need to go premium to find them, I'm just not sure which well known brands are here, which should tell you a lot about how they market themselves.

The only thing a premium account allows you to do, that you can't already do, is buy land on the mainland and get a small amount of spending money once in a while. Everything else is the same. Just try to use the search feature in the search tab if you want well known Second Life Products.

Many people find the search feature very frustrating and turn to the web to search for products. SLExchange is one such site:
