With a tip of the hat to Strife Onizuka- (I snipped part of a post that demonstrates what I see on my monitor)

Is this what everyone else sees on this forum? I'm really at a loss to get a clean display.
All my codes except HTML are enabled.

LL turned off BBcode on the forums ages ago, so yes, that it what everyone else sees as well :(.

(If you're using FireFox you could read through /327/b2/188445/1.html)

On a positive note, LL hinted at maybe, possibly updating the forums in the near/far/distant future... we've been holding our breaths for months :p.

No, I'm using Strife's Grease Monkey script and the forums look pretty much like they did when BBCode was enabled.

Do people not using Firefox also have alternatives? (I'm using it + Greasemonkey, just curious)

Usually I use Firefox, though sometimes I'll have an IE widnow up, but I never see that garbage in any of my sessions. If I did, I don't think I would bother trying to read the forums at all.

I think someone said Strife's script works for Opera too. I don't know about Internet Exploder.

Yes, they broke the forums nearly a year ago, and I use Firefox but not any simians... You can put links between IMG tags so they can be clicked (like in my signature). If the link doesn't show up adding a ? will make it... :cool:

For scripting forums, if you click reply, the pose will be correctly formatted in the quote section of the edit box so you can copy/paste it from there too... :)

Strife O Rules!

I loaded Firefox and did the Greasemonkey and got Strife's script and now its ALL BETTER!

Slightly OT, but the reason I have not been using Firefox is it's lousy for viewing Hotmail, which is my primary email machine. When I scroll a page in HM with FF, I see many whilte lines through the text. I wonder if there is a script to fix that?

Further- The scroll feature in Firefox is NEVER as smooth as in IE7. If not for those two irritations I would rarely ever use IE7.
