This is the second night in a row that I cannot, no matter what I do, teleport into a Burning Life sim. Am I getting a cosmic hint that I need to give up here ?
on edit: I know I'm not the only person having this trouble. I can teleport to any other sim I want to, but if it contains Burning Life, I get the blacked out waiting screen and then nothing or, at best, I"ll be sent to some other sim. If I didn't really want to see Burning Life, I'd say f**** it and not even post. Turning in a Support ticket would be a complete waste of time. Yes, I'm annoyed.

The burning ilfe sims are frequently lagged rfom lots of animated exhibits and avs. try to pic the one with the fewest people and try 2-3 times. I get punted about 50% f the time. OH and one thing that helps a LOT, go there nekked I mean no prims atatched. If you have like 1000 prims in blingy boots and hats and whatnot, that really slows you down and the tp may time out. (texture clothing is not a problem)

As with any major public event, BL keeps getting griefed in big ways. Could be why you weren't able to TP. Also, as previously stated, it gets pretty full at times. Keep it up, though, it's worth it.

I'm trying hard to care whether or not I would be able to get into burning life were I to try, but I just can't manage it. probably because these days, everything LL touches turns brown and gooey.

I had no problems getting there yesterday. It was a great mindf*ck, by the way, most recommended! Love it. It reminded me of the first time I came to SL, when I had the feeling I must have eaten something bad, causing hallucinations! Like I told a friend today when I attempted to describe it: "Just as I thought I had seen it all, I went to see Burning Life 2007 in Second Life, and I realized I had seen nothing yet". Creativity is still thriving and pumping through the veins of SL artists, fortunately, and we all should really appreciate that instead of focusing on other issues just this once *glances at Warda* and smiles cheeringly.

Hmm . . I went there this "morning." I mean morning in Eastern US time. There was nothing going on. Nothing. Will try again later today. I really want to go to the real Burning Man Festival and hoped this would be the next best thing. -- KC

The one running burning life makes it a joke anyway Steve, so many issues. I'm personally not wasting my time after the way he treated those I respect and tried to restrain creativity. Oh yes, and the 'creator' is only 18, and has done this festival for 2 years previous. Do the math.
