Hello,
I am currently renting a place that the media link says "No Media Here" and i cannot change anything on the media page. Are there any options for getting music to play in a place like this.
Thnx, I apologize if this has been answered but I did a search and could not find an answer.

I assume you mean the Media tab of the About Land dialog.

Depending on how the landlord has set things up, you may or may not be allowed access to that page. It's possible that you may get permission to change it via a group. It's also possible the landlord might provide you with a pre-programmed radio to set the media. In any event, the place to start is by asking the landlord.

Thnx, yes i meant the media tab under About Land. I l asked to the landlord and i was told that media wasn't available I told her that there was a a url in the Music portion of the tab but all it showed was *********** she said that meant media wasn't available. I just want to make sure that is a true statement because it sounded odd to me or if there is a work around.

If you want media and your landlady won't let you have it then it's time to find a new landlady.

That - **********- just means that the media url has been set to not show. All land has the same functions when it comes to media, but who can change that url is at the discretion of the landowner. Land divided into 100 parcels has a separate audio and media function for each parcel. Certain scripted objects deeded to a landholding group or owned by a landowner can change the urls, but of course that's something the landowner must allow.

Move.
