Yes the forum is full of them, but lets get them all together in one spot, and see which are the most common SL wide.

Items evaporating from inventory while attempting to rez them
Sinking though the ground; this one has gotten out of hand of late, perhaps walking should be banned as it is a gamble that you wont sink through the ground.
Rezzed items doing the same. I've had several items just sink into the ground, but are back after I relog, or go to and come back from another sim.
Teleport crash. Been several times over the last week that I have tried to teleport to one place or another only to get logged out because SL lost me in the teleport.
Drift off. Teleport in to some place and the first time I move my AV continues to drift off in that direction till I am logged off for being disconnected from the sim.
Item failed to rez. Item failed to rez at. Been several times I have went to work on something and couldn't even get a new prim to rez. Relog and it's fine.
Attached items disappearing during teleport. I think one of the Lindens is collecting my hats, they keep disappearing during teleport; they are gone when I get there. Sculpty hats that I made so you can't buy them anywhere.
Mystery crash. Just standing there minding my own business, watch the neighbor working on some thing and poff, SL is gone and the crash logger comes up.
Stealth crash. had this happen a few times, been some place doing something then realize your IM's are not going out and your chat isn't working, you can turn but not walk or fly, you can watch everyone doing what ever, but they don't respond to you. You have crashed and your viewer doesn't know it yet.

These are my regulars, one's that happen several times of the coarse of a week. And have been going on for a few while; as noted some have gotten quite worse.
Now this isn't for debate, or venting, just a list of your regular problems, things that happen a few times a week.

This has happen to me many times and I only joined a week ago! I get stuck in many places and have to log out to fix it.

Another one is dancing.Whenever I try to dance at a club,I can't stop until I log out.

TP hardly ever works for me the first time.

(How to constructively respond without being redundant?)

Well, a lot of these are common anyway, but as a group they tend to suggest viewer bandwidth problems. The various forms of "drifting" mean that the viewer is extrapolating motion without updates from the sim. This is of course very common when crossing sim boundaries, but when it happens within a sim, either that sim isn't sending updates when it should, or they're not making it through to the viewer in a timely fashion. If it happens a lot, in multiple sims, I'd be very inclined to reboot the local router, and/or test bandwidth of the local ISP connection.

The failure to rez thing is a little different. I swear something has changed that makes this a "fussier" operation than it used to be, but now I sometimes encounter this when rezzing on the ground, when I never had that before. But without fail, I'm able to Create a .5m plywood cube and rez on top of it.

(Hope some of this rambling is helpful.)

Here's my list of issues: :(
- I have only started experiencing the 'sinking into the ground' since this last Wed maint cycle (once or twice before that, but lots of times since then)
- The only inventory issue that I have frequently, is I can almost always cause a crash by empyting my trash. I instead have to purge a few items at a time.
- I have experienced, more frequently, the issue of trying to rez an item and it won't for whatever reason, but I've never lost a 'no copy' item from this.
- I don't lose items during teleport, but do occassionally experience the 'shoe up the arse', though recently it has been attached to my gut or head more often.
- My only other Teleport issues have been an increase in 'unable to teleport'
- I experience Mystery Crash and Stealth Crash quite a bit. It has been somewhat less since I swapped to the Nocholaz viewer, but it still happens more frequently than it did a month or two ago.
- Even though Search is basically worthless, it is still useful for looking up a specific person or group -- or it would be useful if it worked more than it didn't.

When any of the above seem to get really bad, I start messing with my bandwidth settings again and that will sometimes help (but only sometimes). I'm sure some of the issues could be caused by my ISP experiencing extremely high traffic, but quite often I will test that by going to a few web sites and checking page load times and download times and it still seems that SL is much worse than regular web activity.

Now for the good, cuz every bad (or group of bads in this case) has a good:
- Due to all of the above, I spend more time on the forums that I used to and I'm learning soooooo much - especially finding out about really cool places to go (of course SL has to be working for me to go there, but I've got a good list none the less).

The problems above have all struck me at times but the REALLY annoying bug is the one where everything freezes, for anything from 10 to 30 seconds. I do not mean the stealth crash because everything comes back on line and it is nothing to do with the ISP or router because my second computer works ok when it happens. The only differences between the two are that number 2 has not got the new upgrade to Voice and the graphics cards are different. No.2 has an Nvidia GeForce and No1 has an ATI Radeon

I get this one. What's alarming is that it looks exactly like what happens right before my BSOD (which I know has nothing to do with SL) so I just sit back and wait to crash. Ick. I've been getting the endless teleport a lot lately as well; it only happens when someone else tp's me to their location. And yes, ground sinking is worse too.

Twitchy objects. You edit them into place, close the window, they twitch somewhere slightly different. Right-click to fix and, before you hit 'Edit,' they usually hop back where you want them.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Gosh, I had forgotten about that one. It used to happen to me a lot after the last viewer upgrade. But then I decided to install the Nicholaz viewer, which works with the previous release of the SL viewer. I have still experienced the lock-up, but so seldom now that I barely think of it as an actual problem.

Here's my list of issues:

- The toilet sounds like a trombone when flushed.

- My neighbors think that I play the trombone.

- I don't like trombones

Did you check your arse?
Here in the states we still call it an ass, but arse sound so much more dignified. :)
