soooo....new viewer, anyone else had this problem?

hehe last night at one point the DJ had no torso and a few minutes later no legs. I took pics.

New viewer.

Yes! and not only that, when I go back to my old viewer, I stay the same with eyes on stalks and huge chunks of me missing! I only seem to be able to correct it by emptying cache and rebaking textures.

What are you all complaining about? You can filter out adult content now and that's all that matters. I'm sure they will get around to fixing the "no face bug" in version 1.74.

hehe I'm a little bummed now because an uninstall of the new viewer wont fix it apparently...but when I log back on later (I just logged off in disgust) I will try the rebake Thanks Waterstar!

you could try uninstalling sl and deleting your current sl folder and starting from scratch..just make sure you save your viewer settings and your IM log folder..then drop back to the one that was working..

Never had just the face before. I have had entire nonprim parts disappear. Meh just call it a new fetish so everyone in SL has to be pushed off to adult land. I'm sure one of us sickos will find some fun way to enjoy it.

I heard this bug resolves itself after the first time you empty the cache on the new viewer. I haven't tested that for myself.

Nope. I have my client set to purge cache on every launch, and it still does it, every time.

Try refocusing your view or zoom. When I had it pre udpate usually it was cause I was zoomed in and would fix it by zooming out or in and then back to what I want.

I cleared cache and have not had the problem again

I was hosting a trivia contest at a bar last night and it was very freaky. People would rez in and there'd be shoes on the floor covered by their hair. Communication worked fine, they just had no bodies.

Nope. Tried clearing cache several times, and re-baking each time just before and just after clearing. 1.23.4 will still take off my whole upper body when I try to take off my shirt.
