I've been here almost two-and-a-half years, and finally had to file my first Abuse Report. It was based on verbal harassment and disruption of an event.

I dutifully kept a log of everything that was said, and was prepared to copy it to the Abuse Report- the AR form even asks for it. But I couldn't, there wasn't enough room, it only took a few lines.

How am I supposed to submit the full chat log?

There isn't a way to do this, but I think we should be able to attach a text file, (they have a place for attachments on support tickets) or have a spot like on our profile where we can include a note card.

For now, I just take the most illustrating 3 or 4 line piece of a chat to include on the current AR form.

The Governance staff should be able to access their chat logs.

It's not necessary. You can copy-paste a couple lines to give a basic idea of what was said. Beyond that; they already have the location, the server maintains chat logs, and they'll be able to get all the information they need on their own. (^_^)y

I wrote the Abuse Report as an explanation of what I planned to attach from the chat log- and when I figured out I couldn't attach the chat log, I wasn't sure what to write.

But it all took place in Local Chat. The chat logs should speak for themselves. I guess just the time, place, and names should work then.
