Has anyone seen this before? I happened to be standing on my region looking around when all of a sudden i looked at my Pants and my Chat logs on there? Looks like Logs from group chat..
So i decide to re-log and see if that clears it up. Nope. Still there. So I decided to re-log again but clearing Cache. Resulting in still being there. I re-baked texture several times and still didn't remove it. So I figured I would try one more thing and replace the pants with another pair. WEWT!! The chat logs disappeared. hahaha, and so did the pants. They vanished when I replaced them with a noob pair of pants. Anyone heard of this ?   _____________________

I have seen textures load as a random web page, but usually it's on someone else or an object. I've never seen it on my own clothes.

I have had textures from around me load onto my clothes and I've had much of my UI (huds and menus) load onto my clothing, but never any sort of chat or IM.
I've always been able to fix it with just a Rebake. _____________________

This has actually been happening to me a lot recently, the random bits of interface showing up on my body textures. For some reason, it's usually during TP, so I get mostly black with the blue TP progress bar, but I have had group IM, open chat, and even private IM pasted to me. So far, rebaking has fixed it every time. I'm less than amused that private IM shows up occasionally, but it appears to be a glitch that's unavoidable.

I have seen this happen with a random images or text - not from my computer - appearing in place of every un-rezzed texture on everyone and everything, usually in high-lag areas. I have seen the "blue screen of death" in place of the temporary rezzing grey as well.

I see this happen occasionally too. It usually occurs when I have SL minimized and I'm browsin' the web and downloading things. When I go back to check on SL my AV has turned into a collage of UI elements. Sometimes this happens when I'm trying to run multiple viewers simulatneously. I think it may have some correlation to performance, whether it's a bandwidth concern or that or your local system, I'm not entirely sure. A rebake always fixes it for me though.

I'll do you one better, I had the chat window FROM THE PREVIOUS SESSION printed across my chest when I logged in, until the actual texture replaced it. for reference, the chat window isn't a sticky setting so it wasn't even open.
