Whaaah, I am ghosted!! Have been all day. I found poor Doomy, but cannot help her. She's crashed into a tree at the Education Supporte Faire. The Faire covers 4 SIMS and is possessed by gremlins... I submitted a ticket...

So it's not just me thinking that faire is haunted?
I kept disappearing from my screen as if I had walked into a huge invisible prim. A lot of prims, like the walkways and part of the main stage, were missing. Then I fell through the floor - didn't just walk into the ground, but actually tumbled down some distance.
Then I left :(

Granted, my time at SL has been limited thus far, but those four SIMS are the most possessed place I have yet to be in. I was trying to take in as much of the Faire as I could, but every trip there was met with insane SIM crossing weirdness -- including getting sucked into the floor while standing anywhere near the crossing, constant tossing into the ether, non loading textures, mega lag. And now, the indignity of hanging in a tree all day instead of actually being AT the faire.

It is really too bad because there were some great speakers scheduled, lots of presenters, a good effort on LLs part. Seriously, though, it does not look good when the folks who are deciding whether or not to make an investment into SL for education are subject to the very worst the Grid can cough up... This lack of performance is a big show stopper for educators. We've got enough problems...

So, they will eventually set me free I hope...
