Hiya! I need to host a 60+ minute movie. I am wondering how I would do that. Without youtube. Is there any programs I need? Thanks for your help in advance =^.^=

If it's playable in Quicktime you can use the lands mediasettings to play the video on a prim.

What you do is:
Set "Media Type" to 'video/mpeg
Set the "Media URL" to where your movie is. This needs to be accessable from WAN.
Set the "Replace Texture" to a texture on wich to play the movie in world. For instance the 'Default Media Texture'.

Then You rezz a object. Set the objects texture to the same as above and click play on the media player.

Torley made a video that explains it all a little easier:

It needs to be compatible with quicktime. Upload it onto a website and you can stream it inworld.
