My older blog that is now private has lot of my older stuff as FD Spark is closing.
I am feeling very clueless and overwhelmed in how to do certain things with making
a back up.
They(AOL journals) said I could import/export XML files to blogger.com.
The problem is I don't know how to make a XML file or even how to manage XML
files.
Anyone here got clue how to do XML file management type of stuff?
I think I figure out import is incoming, export is outgoing.
I know how to save pages offline but I thought those were html only not XML.
Closest I have come across XML files is when I was working with Inkscape
was when I ran into the vector files turning into XML but still didn't totally
get it.
I am total idiot when it comes to these techy things.
Anyone able to help me out or how to understand this type of thing?

FD, it looks to me like they try to make it easy enough that one doesn't actually have to get down and dirty with the XML stuff. Have you read http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=112742 and tried the link there, to http://www.blogger.com/AolToBlogger ?

Thank you I must have missed that I was wondering in circles lost.
Haha top of wikipedia page for XML said "This article may to be long."
Just enough to totally intimidate and make someone like myself feel
very overwhelmed. I get lost just trying to reading the LSL and other
complex parts of SL wiki.
