Grey Mainland??

Do parts of the mainland 'land' go grey a lot? I seem to be seeing this more frequently the last week or two. I popped around the sim and all of the land is grey -- all other textures are there and look fine. I also popped to some neighboring sims and some are all grey and some are okay.

Does it do any good to file some sort of report for this?

Grey Goo has been around for years, dont waste time reporting it. Its like cockroaches, yah cant get rid of it.

It sounds more like a texture rezzing problem. Question: Do other people see the ground as gray at the same times and places that you do?

If not, it's probably your client. I would start by manually clearing the cache... going to the cache folder and deleting the contents, rather than just clicking the clear cache button in the client.

If other people ARE seeing it, then it seems more like a problem with the sim. Not sure what, but requesting a restart is probably a good place to start.

I go gray all the time. The first time, I posted here and asked who stole my grass. :|

If I log in and everything is gray, I just clear my cache from Edit > Preferences > Network Tab and then restart. It usually fixes it.
