Back To School Griefers

How many of you are abruptly being plagued by griefers? It started yesterday with me. My daughter and a couple of friends who are SL Kids and myself were having our morning chat on our parcel on a private island way out in the middle of nowhere. All of a sudden, we were surrounded in flames, then blown to somewhere black and ominious that I had to log off to get away from.

I came back, banned the idiots (who cannot be named because *they* are protected by TOS) and tp'ed the others back. The idiots then began setting up camp in the next parcel, putting out spitzers in an attempt to crash the sim. We all sent Abuse Reports (I know, try to stifle your giggling) to which I expect a prompt email response next week some time reassuring me the Lindens are investigating. Meanwhile, if we still had Live Help, someone could have arrived in time to stop the sim from crashing.

Today, I logged on to find piles of trash taking up all the available prims on my parcel, probably left by one of the idiots' innumerable "No Payment Info On File" alts.

I also received word from a group and a couple friends that they were having problems.

Maybe if the Lindens actually *did* something to these griefers, they would not be so plentiful or so active.

put all the names into a notecard and give it to the estate owner for banning

only had 1 serious griefing gang on my island in 4 months but took care of it with making them look like complete morons and a perma ban
2 idiots trying to see how much trash the could place within an hour with auto return at 60, freeze and haras back with a perma ban after getting bored

safe to say the griefers have stayed away for about 3 months so far from my island as griefing griefers where i can hurt them is something i enjoy and they don`t


maybe that`s the cause, no anger managment anyone with venting on giefers...

Lot of "Kids" are getting back / starting college.

They suddenly have high speed internet connections ....

You can do the math.

Of course a lot of these are over 18 kids. People who think the average person acts like a mature adult at age 18 is delusional.



Some legitimate SL'rs I know are in college and they can hardly or never log on over the summer becuase their connections cant handle it.

So they are getting back as well.
