Hi everyone! Today I logged on to find out that my short pants that I was wearing underneath a skirt have become long pants whenever I wear them with a shoe. The only way to correct it is to take both off in edit appearance and put them back on in edit appearance. Is anyone else having this problem?

I *think* this one is the one that can be fixed by turning off Palletized Textures:

Advanced menu (ctrl-alt-D) / Rendering / Features / Palletized Textures -- uncheck it.

This is a chronic problem with SL and it manifests a little differently for different users. I had dark brown socks I couldn't get rid of a while back. Some users have black legs or black crotch area. There are usually at least two or three threads a week about this complaint.

There are a variety of cures:
Changing outfits from the skin out.
Teleporting to somewhere quiet.
Logging out and logging back in.
Hitting ctrl-alt-r in advanced featuers which rebakes textures etc...

All of these sometimes work and there are a few other suggestions.

The good news is that this condition is transient. I also think it is random. If nothing else, the problem kind of fixes itself in a matter of hours to days.
