Hair Bases

Hello,
I have been trying to find a female skin on Second Life that has a hair base. An actual hair line that is on the skin permanently. It's used almost as a filler for where prim hair has open spots. It makes the actual prim hair look more real with a hair line. I have been looking everywhere. The only place I have found is on Naughty Island. Are there others?

I haven't seen anything like that, but it's not a bad idea. I suspect you would need a unique bald base for each hair style though, as the hairlines and textures of each style and color vary a great deal.

Namssor's skins at Second Skin have them. I believe there's 4 base hairline colors available for each skin tone, don't quote me on that tho.

Perhaps this would be a useful mod when they come to tweak the avatar grahics.
I mean an adjustable painted-un and texturable hair base that lies flush with the scalp. This would be an additional feature to the existing 'system' hair.

Funny I was wondering the very same thing the other day. I would imagine it shouldn't be too tough to create a scalp layer in PS using some hair paint brush tools....but with all the hair styles I have I'd need 100s just to work with each style....e-gads! But....what a perfect idea. Prim hair is beautiful and makes such a huge difference in the avatar's realism...and I don't understand why the scalp textures haven't been designed to allow for a natural looking hair line.
I may have to mess around in photoshop for a it and see if I can come up with something that works. I can't justify buying any more skins at this point, just to get the hair scalp. I have way too many as it is. :p

Several of my skins have hair bases on them (most that do also have a bald version included).
