How the heck do you convince them to all roll in together?

Thanks, clever people!

There's a set called smartwaves that auto sync, you can buy them, forget the shop, but its one of the largest for waves and surfboards

Eeeps! I looked at those, but went with the package with the nifty upward crash particle.

I've got a long beach, too... I can't quite think how I'm going to do this without a trick or script or something.

If it's within link limits and you can do so, link them, write a timer script, and use link messages to synch them.

If you can't link them, use llListen and llRegion say on a negative chat channel.
The first method is less resource intensive, but either should work.

If you can copy them, select all of them, drag a copy upwards, then delete the upper copy. This will reset all the scripts at the same time (the lower ones are actually the copy), and that should sync them for you.

Thank you, sir. You are a scholar and a gentleman. My world is in synch again.

Thank you, too, Annabelle, for the alternative methods, and, most particularly, for the laugh I got when you suggested that I write a script!

Next year (maybe), in Jerusalem.... :)

smart waves

Hi I bought smart waves a while ago with "Bora" surf boards, there are commands with them u put in chat to synch or ,make wave bigger. However although I have surfed the waves I bought at the demo beach, the same thing dont seem to happen when i try and ride the waves at my own island!, im always pushing the arrow key up, to keep going, and no wave seem to catch me and let it take me by itself, i end up just riding over the water with the arrow up key like a skate board, perhaps im doing something wrong lol

If you find yourself walking on water, you may want to check if you have developed a halo, too.
