Hi, My avatar is smaller than most. I have a hard time finding prim hair that fits well without requiring a lot of adjustments and resizing. I really like it when hair designers include small, mediums, and large hair in the pack. I am always a small. However, I often find that things look a little weird at my forehead hairline, under the prim bangs. I mess around with hair size and position without much luck. I'm wondering if I need to make a change to my head instead. Forehead slope, or something. Can someone out there who works with hair a lot take a look at these pictures, and suggest what needs to be altered, my head or the hair? Other than right at the hairline, I love this hair and it fits great. But I am so tired of having to do massive edits to new hair. I would love to know if there is just something I need to change with my forehead size or something, so this is not always such a problem. I don't really want to make my head and body larger. (I have the same problem with prim skirts - I don't even want to go there!) http://flickr.com/photos/princessivory/sets/72157605186624731/Thanks,

Hi Princess,
What happens if you just scoot it back on your head, away from your forehead? I have to do this a lot too. With certain hair designers, I find that I nearly always have to either move the hair back on my head, or actually raise it up a bit; otherwise my skull looks oddly squashed.

Yup, that's always my first step in fitting prim hair, and from the pictures it looks like it might be a good start. I would never change any part of my face shape to make hair fit better. Sometimes just editing linked parts and moving a few key prims can do the trick as well.

From: Stephanie Misfit I would never change any part of my face shape to make hair fit better. Sometimes just editing linked parts and moving a few key prims can do the trick as well. My shape is my own custom shape. I'm just wondering if I need to tweak some part of forehead settings or something, so that hair fits better right out of the box. This is always a problem, and I don't want to constantly have to edit prim hair every time I buy it. Some fit better than others, but I almost always fun into this forehead problem. Just wondering if someone with good shape creating skills can notice anything I should change about the forehead, or shape of that area, to help me save some time when I buy hair. Princess Ivory

I'm pretty hard-headed about my shape (no pun)... So I really had to work on my building skills to make sure that stuff that I bought would finally look right on me. Hair mostly. I'm a leftie in RL... So I'm kinda used to things not working for me in the first place without changes or adjustments. (>_< The fun part is, when I made my biggie shape, I was still wearing one of my favorite hairs at the time. So while I did change my head shape to look older, it's still pretty much the same hair fit as my normal shape. (^_^) So, I say, use it as a chance to keep up on your building abilities. It gives you a chance to play with things and get used to the tools available to us. (^_^) If you want a REAL challenge... Try wearing invisiprim-based eyes only to discover that the remaining parts of your hair cuts half way into your eye socket. (=_=)y

Without seeing what you are unhappy with, we really can't help. I have just started buying new hair recently from a different designer and I have the opposite problem - I need to size up. Usually a stretch of the hair will take care of it, and very little adjustment up/down.
