Steampunk boots?

My sis is looking for really steampunkish boots - meaning something nifty with (possibly turning) gears and such. She has searched through Xstreet extensively and also inworld, but most of what she found is just Victorian-ish looking and sorta "normal". Grim Bros. have some slippers that look right, but not boots. *sighs*

Anyone have any ideas to which shop I might point her? Thanks in advance.

I'd suggest a look round the Port Caledon regions lots of steampunk stuff there - can't say I've seen boots but I wasnt looking for footwear.

Bitter Thorns might be worth looking up too ... not quite the same thing but I love my glowing cyber sneekers I got there.

Caledon was the first thing that came to mind, of course, but so far no luck. Bitter Thorns is nice, definitely, but not for what she is looking for this time.

these have moving sculpty gears but not sure if they would be to her liking. there was this amazing steampunk place where everything was for 1L, but it's gone unfortunately.

profile states that creator gave the collection to another av so I'm not sure if they will put them out again for that price but the stuff was pretty amazing and i'm not even into the steampunk thing. really nice quality and textures and i'm sure i saw boots there.

The Skoopf Icicles 'Steamers' were awesome steampunk ice skates, but they were a limited edition so I'm not sure if they are still available.

Joshooah, I went to look for those former 1L-items, and the new owner is selling some of them for a few hundred L each. No boots though. The stuff does look excellent. Will take a closer look at the brass wings later.

Steamforge has awesome Steampunk boots with moving gears and steam from the soles when flying.

I know Mr. Nix Sands has a lovely pair of steampunk boots with a steam jet attachment that rotates about when you fly. I can't log on now, or I'd send you the SLURL to his shop, but you could try looking him up inworld.

Virrginia, sadly he has only men's stuff in his stores up. On Xstreet, he has some pumps, but not the boots you mentioned.

Maybe it is time to make your own?

PrimCision Jewelry has some Steampunk boots you might want to look at, I saw them at their store in world but have not tried them yet

Novis, there were "sci-fi boots" available from Jeepers Creepers which look pretty steampunky indeed, although without moving parts. However, they do not seem to be available anymore. You may want to ask Eponymous Trenchmouth, the shop's owner, if they are still to be had.
