Is there a way to search for lost items on your land? I tried the "click the land then click show" but I still cant find what I'm missing. I invented a greeting bot that says hello to my guests, scans them, then goes back to it's spot. Well this morning it vanished without a trace. I checked the prims on my land and it looks like it might still be somewhere. If there is a way to search it out that I dont know about that would be great.

Thanks.

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

CTRL-ALT-T highlights items that are transparent in red.

CTRL-ALT-R (or maybe it is CTRL-SHFT-R) will put you in Wireframe view and you will be able to see objects that might be hiding in/under another prim.

Disable Camera Constraints will allow you to look underground in case something ended up there.

Have you checked high and low as well?
(like really high up...and under the ground)

I've found things in the silliest spots...had a goldfish I made make it to 600m's...when it started below the water level...actaully found it on accident on my way up one day.

Never underestimate a determined prim!

I found a "finder" in my inventory the other day. If you know the item's name, it can find it for you. I'm not in-world right now but will be happy to give it to you tonight when I get home.

Client > Redering > Types > Terrain or CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+5

I'm trying to remember this off the top of my head, literally it turns terrain invisible.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

You shouldn't use kitty-scripts for greeting bots then ;)

The point is not whether you like them or not.
