How Do I Find Anything in the Wiki?

I've been having a conversation in-world and someone brought up knowing someone else who got in trouble regarding the camping policy. I wanted to show this person the policy, so I thought I would just go to the Second Life web site, go to the Knowledge Base, and bring up the policy.

Well, I have discovered that there is no more Knowledge Base. Everything is part of the Wiki. And there is no way of which I know to search for Linden Lab policies. (The Search searches the whole Wiki, and I can't figure out ways of narrowing search to keep out pages of irrelevance.) I've just spent a half hour trying to work my way though that mess.

Is there a way to search for LL policies or for articles that used to be in the Knowledge Base?

Vogons are in charge of posting LL policies. Shot yourself in the foot and hop around cursing at the top of your lungs. It is much less painful and achieves the same results.

Thanks for posting that bit of it.

I'm hearing a second-hand story of a suspension over camping. The story (if true) indicates that Linden Lab isn't following its own procedures. And it's frustrating because I remember the procedures from forum discussions, but I can't confirm them by just going to the web site and looking up the policies. Because it's a mess.

People were supposed to receive warnings before suspensions, and the person I'm hearing about was suspended without warning. (I can believe she didn't know about the policy- it's a hidden policy.) The other concern is that it came from an AR- I remember distinctly that Linden Lab said don't AR, we will go after places ourselves.

It seems plausible that a Linden gets an AR, and rather than going with policy (not acting on it, not realizing that warnings come first), just goes ahead and does the suspension.

But regardless of whether the story is true or not, it should be a little easier to confirm what the rules are in the first place.

Does anyone have a link to the posts about not wanting ARs on camping?

I can't see why someone couldn't AR traffic bots if they are ruining other peoples enjoyment of their land.

I do agree suspension is pretty harsh if not been warned, unless it's a short 24 hour one that does act as a warning in itself.
