I see the age verification permissions for each land parcel but how does it work for entire region ratings?

Does this mean that non-verified residents cannot visit a mature region?

Is there a loss of traffic by changing my regions from PG to Mature?

Thank You!

No, and almost certainly no - traffic is a hard thing to judge but if you are fairly self-sufficient and do not rely on random traffic from your neighbours then you should be fine. Or, if you have a fairly PG sort of business, you will not I imagine be so bothered that your neighbours all run PG parcels.

Age verification flags and entire region settings are separate things.

No. Only land thats flagged verified only.

If it is mainland I don't think you can change from PG to mature..

The age verifcation is still in beta and does not work properly. So I would NOT recommend setting that to on. Last I heard even verified people could not access a sim then. Currently setting that flag on is about the same as making a sim fully private. :(

As for will you lose traffic by going to mature, that all depends on the sim. If you sell or have mature themed products or areas then you should be mature already.

When I am shopping I visit both PG and Mature sims, and really don't care either way, I just be sure I am dressed properly when I do.

If you don't use the adult content flag, you don't lose anything by having a mature sim. People happily shop and largely live PG style, it just means they can get nekkid and whip out the pose balls should the mood take them.

People do this on PG sims too, although technically they shouldn't.

(PG) and (mature) land are more about what you CAN do...

(mature content) and (age verified) states are more about what you CAN'T do...

I have a relatively PG parcel in a (mature) region. I'm unverified, and until lately have spent most of my time in my loli avatar. What I like about it, is that I have my basement, and I don't have to limit myself to PG activity/behavior when I'm home. But, that doesn't stop me from having Good Clean Fun©®™ with friends anyway. I don't think a mainland sim can be changed - I have not clue about estates. The PG/Mature sim designation is not the same as the "mature content" flag and I would bet that you either cannot or should not call anything "mature content" on a PG sim.

True, Mainland ratings cannot be altered. I was referring to estate regions and those can be changed in a couple clicks. Thanks.
