I would like to get into surfing in SL, and am wondering what would be the best surfboard to buy to be able to ride the waves that I see at a lot of different locations. Do you need a different kind of board for each type of wave, or do all the boards work everywhere? Any recommendations and advice will be appreciated. Thanks!

from what i've seen so far there are two "types" of waves, and the stuff from heather goodliffe is way more common... so get yourself a board based on goodliffe scripts. the prims don't really matter other than for looks anyways.

Laurin Sorbet asked a similar question not long ago which might be helpful . . . Pep ( . . . although the thread devolved into surfer dood nostalgia. )
