503 Service Unavailable

The service is not available. Please try again later.

I've been getting this regularly since yesterday or so.

The 503 Error:
Out of Resources
The server cannot process the request due to a system overload.
This should be a temporary condition.

Should I pay more money? =)

Been happening a lot to me too. Also happens sometimes with in world searches. Probably a new feature.

Oh come on now, surely you jest. There is absolutely no way the makers of the worlds finest virtual world would have 503 service unavailable errors in their forums.

That's unpossible!

Maybe you were seeing the one in my signature.

It must be fixed - I received the following email telling me so:

We have solved your issue

Thank you for your reply. I have tested the Forum and all is working well. There was additional work done today on the 503 error issue.

Regardless of how many people post new threads about the 503 erros. They have to fix this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is getting to be a joke.

cause they prolly stopped fucking around with that 1.19 on all servers and reverted back to the normal crap

Still getting the 503's!!! I can't believe that it's taking them this long to correct this problem!!

Wait a minute,,,,,. Yes,, I can believe it's taking this long. They still can't get a handle on stabilizind SL so,,,,, it'll probably be the same for the 503 issue.

I'm still getting them as much as last week. It really is nearly a week now; I can't think of any other word to use than 'embarrassing' when it comes to the image portrayed by a company who have their website semi-down for nearly a week. If I were a bossman at LL, I would be seriously f***ing livid with someone.

Ya know,,, I just have to say this to the Lindens who hopefully are monitoring these posts,,,,.

With the current performance of SL, along with this newly added 503 surprise,,, it's becoming quite evident that the 'SL Titanic' is sinking!

Please stop re-arranging the deck chairs and plug the leaks before we all sink!

I fear the we have a bleak future ahead and maybe non at all if SL continues at it's current levels.

Nope. It's a different website with different errors - "Page cannot be found". Fixing that won't fix anything here.

I just noticed that the comments under the "Rolling Restarts" blog entry, http://blog.secondlife.com/2008/01/30/rolling-restarts-wednesday-jan-30th-200-pm/ include a duplicate post by CG Linden (@#4 & #14)--a 503 effect, no doubt.

Imagine if your actual *job* depended on using this website. (Oh. For some folks, it does. Uh... so sorry.
