I'm hunting for prim scales....like fish or snake scales that I can attach to my avatar to make it look like I have a patch of scaled skin.... OR.... Skins that have patches of scales on them...that could be tintable? (i.e. skins with patches of red scales, yellow scales, blue scales, etc...) Figured it was a long shot, but if anyone knew if it exsistend, you guys would be the ones to know.  Not quite a Friday thread, but hey.... I'm on all day, if you've got any leads: Bunni Menizah. Not that I know of, but it wouldn't be too hard to make. I think getting a good blending from skin to scales would require a bit of an artistic touch though, and you'd need it matched to your skin tone. I guess maybe if you upped the alpha around the edges you'd get a decent blend of your skin + scales. Yeah, that might work good.

Ummm, I made a texture real quick from some snake scales I found on the net. I could send it to you and you just gotta put it on a small prim and attach it somewhere (like your ear)... that is, if you want a patch of scales on say your cheek.
Sorry about the tech babble. "Upped the alpha"... I just mean, make the edges of the scales fade to transparent so you get a blend of the scales and the skin underneath.
I'll send you the TGA and you can upload it and play with it. I can get in-world until tonight so i can't do much more.

Might also pay to check out some tattoo vendors. I've seen some very professional tattooes that made it look like you were part robot under your skin. Have to imagine someone did that with scales.
