I realize we can make them but do we do it under the first alt's account or set up another account?

And can both alts be on sl at the same time without the laptop exploding? How does this work?

Any information you give will be embraced. Thanks.

Hi Summer, i'm running a alt myself i'll try too explain it for you *giggle*

1. Yes you will need too create a new account completely. So just sign up as you would if this was your first account. Just remember too set up a separate email address because you can't use the same one for each account.

2. Yes you can run both accounts on SL at the same time as long as your pc or laptop can handle, too run both acounts you need add -mulitple at the end of the target box in the shortcut tab when you open properties on the SL icon. I added mine too the desktop shortcut.

Hope that helps:)

Just to elaborate, there's a space before the -multiple. Oh and yes, your machine must be sufficiently powerful to run multiple clients. The sim where you rezz can alter the loading dramatically.

I heard tons different rule variants about alts and would like to know the true. It must be official info somewhere? Enyone here has a name Linden? How many alts? Which e-mail address? How much it costs? Any limitations? Etc etc.. I'm trying to get that info for almost 2 years.

I'm pretty sure you can have an alt on the same email address as your main av. It's free to have one, that's a 100% fact

I have one email address across all four of my avatars, payment info too.

Yes, free but I've made two of them premiums to get a 1024 plot tier-free.

Also, having an alt allows you to economise on tier by paying in a more granular fashion than the default tier price scale allows.

And, just because you mentioned it, only LL employees can be named Linden.
