I spent a good hour over the weekend looking for good, solid Wiccan animations. Simple things like the 'Goddess Pose' and the 'God Pose', the 'Great Rite', invoking elements, and possibly even a 'hand fasting' animation of some sort for two people. I couldn't find anything.
So, I tried to make some of them myself with a downloaded version of Amivator, but I couldn't get them to upload on SL....and, to be honest, they didn't 'flow' like they should. Me being a novice may have something to do with that.  Any recommendations for places that you know have animations like these? And lets say their aren't any on SL (which seems hard to believe, but I guess is possible); what's the going $L rate to have someone custom make an animation for you? |

Check with Robin Sojourner, in the Livingtree sim. She has Wiccan stuff, including a scripted Athame, that allows you to do many of the common poses and gestures required for Wiccan rituals.

I second Robin Sojourner. Most of the things on my altar came from her shop.

I've attended a couple of Handfastings that were officiated by Super Calamari - she uses Robin's Athame for her own animations, and created a handfasting animation set for the couple (including scripted "ropes" for each step of the blessing). The animation itself came from Merik Drebin.

I see everyone already beat me here! Ya, her athame will cover a lot of whatcha might need. Check otu the Broom Closet store of hers in Livingtree: there's a wall display where you can check out the animations within her athame.

I searched everywhere for a handfasting animation early last year, and posted a request in 'Products Wanted' with no results. In the end we did the Bits & Bobs animation facing each other holding hands, and at the appropriate moments in the ceremony we slipped on ropelike bracelets. (Just celebrated our first anniversary!)

Charming Poses has a couple of Wican Poses. They have an altar set up at the store with poses around it, There is Invoking God and Invoking Goddess there.
