Question about group land and Tier

Hi everybody,

few weeks ago i bought 2576m2 land.
I divided that land and donated 1008m2 to a group where my partner and i are owners off.

They told me that if you donate land the tier will go lower. (this didn't work or i do something wrong)

I try to get under 2560m2 of land so i pay less tier (i think about 11 usd for the last 16m2 is very expensive).

Do someone know how i can do this?

Thanks in advance,

Kaylan

did you have to donate the tier when you donated the land?

if so then it is the same as owning the land yourself

otherwise you will still be billed for the max you owned until the next billing period

Nope!
You will always pay the same for whatever tier level you are at.

When you donate tier to a group, the group gets an extra 10% of available land over the donations.

So:
You can use a group to have control (via the group ownership) of up to 10% more land for the same tier.
Your tier does not reduce.

sling I am not sure if they donated land and tier to the group

or donated land to a group that already has the tier covered...

I would suggest reading the stickied threads about land, and groups and etc...it might help

1. right click on yourself and select groups
2. select the group you donated tier to
3. press the info button
4. select the "Land & L$" tab
5. This has a box that you type into for your contribution to the group

The total contribution number 3 lines above that is the sum of peoples contributions to the group plus an extra 10%

For example if I have a group and contribute 1024 tier to it, the total contribution will be 1024 x 1.1 = 1126
So the group can support 1126 of land even though it only cost me 1024 of my tier

thanks all,

I have a question:

if i take split 16m2 of my own land and buy that land with the group would then the tier lower to what i have to pay for 2560m2?

The group owns now 2016m2 and have space for about 200m2.

yes as long as you do not donate the tier to the group and the group has sufficient tier to support it
