Hi Guys

Seeing as you were all so awesome last time for my request for suggestions on a specific place for a photoshoot that I was after I thought I would call on your knowledge again :))

I am looking for a nice openish space with a pond or lake in it - as I want to take a picture of an avatar sitting by the lake.

Grateful for any suggestions and I will tp over to them later tonight :))

TIA

BB :)

Amarin Island. To be specific, the sim just West of Amarin Island has a lovely lake, with mountains in the background, and water plants around the margins.

You should be able to do your pictures there, as long as you don't get too close to the white monestary on the cliff top in Amarin Island proper.

There is some beautiful scenery in La Reve and plenty of water to pose in front of.

Ceera - thanks for that will go have a look tonight :)

Max - I agree La Reve is stunning (I have taken lots of shots on the sim) but it's not quite what I am after for this shot - it needs to be a little more serene and tranquil and less abstract. But ty for the suggestion :)

No worries. Glad someone else thinks so :)

Yer welcome!

(What can I say? I did all I could to make sure the place was "photogenic";)

The lake is in Amarin Bei. If you TP there, you'll actually end up in Amarin Nan, just to the South, due to how the sim owner has teleport routing set up. Just fly up and then North, and you'll see the lake a little East and North of there.

There is the SLURL for that landing point that you get forced to anyway...

Here's a quick pic I just took there, on a low-end system that can't do Windlight clouds...

Or try the University of Houston sim "HHP at UH". Here's a pic I took by the lake there. It has three small landscaped lake areas, in a college campus setting.

Try Siona and Gnoma sims - the lake extends across the both of them - sorry no pic to hand, but you won't be disappointed.

I took this shot of my friend over in Moose Beach near Bay City...

Here's a link to the hires...

The builds around the beach have a lot of potential for group, party, and solitary pics. Sadly, I learned how to turn up tree detail beyond the normal settings a week later... That shot would have been much better. (>_<;)

One last pic from the University of Houston sim "HHP at UH". (Would look better on a better computer, but the one I was on can't do Windlight well.)
