So this morning I notice the reflection button on Windlight, I turned it on and WOW;



What does "Avatar Cloth" do?

you know this is really rubbing salt in a wound, I can't even get windlight (or the new release) to work! Thanks ever so much for letting me know what I am missing.

I think Avatar Cloth makes your clothing more cloth like. As in, drop from a couple hundred meters and watch your pant legs. They flutter in the wind.

Not sure if this helps, my PC is running Vista with I believe 2 gigs of ram. The processor is.....fast? Can't remember. When I bought it I told the guy to give me a computer I can play SL on.

If you haven't tried it yet... Try moving the master slider to "Ultra" and turn off Impostors. Now, that was a WOW moment for me. I ain't turned back since! (^_^)y

It replaces every avatar from 20M away from you camera on out with a 2D texture that pretends to be that avatar. On some systems, it saves FPS. On others, it don't. On all, it's pretty ugly. (>_<;)
