Hi fellow residents, I would like some input as to which of all the photostudio's out there would you recommend to me. The one I have at the moment I'm not very impressed with and I'm shopping around for another SO if you kindly could give me advice as to which are the best photo studio's in your opinion it would be much appreciated. Links and SLurl's would be a plus too
Thanks in advance![]() |

Hi Roberta...
I don't know too much about photo studios in SL.....but I do know a lot about photography in SL since it's my main focus when I'm in-world. I discovered on my own, thru many frustrating trial and errors that the best studio is one you create yourself. What I mean is.....depending on what sort of photos you want to take......you can grab a HUD that holds multiple poses.....and you'll be able to manipulate everything yourself. That said.....if you don't have your own land (rented or owned) to rez items on.....then that would be a reason to look for a studio. I'd think it might be kind of fun to bounce around to different studios and see what sort of set up they have. If you're looking to buy props for your own use....LAP has some really fun ones. (Long Awkward Pose) look me up in-world if you need any more help.....I'll be happy to do what I can for ya. ![]() _____________________

Just seconding that...I've always made my own, and find that using a backing prim with your own textures, a posestand that you can toss some poses into, and maybe a few prims for light sources is really all that is needed. Completely free and 5 prims, DIY. The rest is stuff that a photo studio cannot do for you anyway, like fiddling with your environment settings.
Have fun ![]() _____________________

My advice is, look in Second Life flickr groups and IM photographers whose work you admire.
