anybody know how ya get ya hands onna info hub?

I want one. I didnt at first. I didnt when Blondin said it would be "cool" if i ran one, but my turd buddies wanna do it so how/where can i get infos alla bout goin about gettin one?

It's going to be... interesting to see what happens. My guess is that a number of groups will aspire to have one or more infohubs.

Possibly in competition with each other, and possibly over the protestations of those actively involved with this hub or that, historically, if not entirely with "sanction" to do so.

It may literally come down to various groups petitioning Blondin for limited resources, and he'll be picking and choosing best he can.

I've been mulling this situation over quite a bit also (separately from Infohubs; I don't want one)... there's a *lot* I could potentially do with this community partnership thing, but it raises the question "should I" on a number of fronts.

thanks desmond for the info and encouragment. i was at blondins office hour tellin him that ll would have to advertize the fact that sex was INSL lol (they donthave to now lol) when he mentoned he thouht it would be cool if i ran one.

i personally dont have the time or the inclintion but i would be willing to let members of my stafff fiddle with it and even look to form partnerships with like minded groups to share duties on an inworld info hub.

caws evangalizin sex and violece on our website in our ezine and on third party networkin sites would fit our (slut mag) skill set & my personal interests atm better

And make sure you have it in writing that you and your group have final word on what occurs there. I was noobish in 2006 and said yes to a infohub and allowed Torley Linden to choose the builder. Then in 2008 she put up a 20 meter grief wall blocking out our sim from the infohub parcel (to drive us out of business - she left the sim behind the infohub visible) and DPW and Blondin Linden tells me the infohub builder has final say on what goes in the sim I have been paying tier on since 2005.

Maybe not exactly an info hub, but you could always make an offer on land near the Bear infohub, apparently the land there's worth nothing according to many owners, so they should take any offer to get out

you gotta be kiddin! imight just have changed my mind on all that crap, i donthave the time or the inclination to deal withthose peskky lindens when they are well um pesky.
