Crashing on TP??

Anyone? I seem to be having the good ole crash during TP issue this evening....just wondering if other folks are getting this lovely little glitch tonight? (I should know better...SL can be a bitch on Sundays lol) I've been using windlight for as long as it's been out and I haven't had too many 'crash on tp' issues at all. Until now. lol

Yes, I just got logged out during TP. That has not happened for some time. But we roll up our sleeves doggedly wade back in like true pioneers.

I last had that a looooong time ago....until the last upgrade. Now, every two TPs, one invariably fails and kicks me out.

Never used to happen to me until about a week or so ago. Now I cross my fingers and hope for the best every time. The very first one usually ends in crash, after that maybe one in three.
Very frustrating.

I know this is annoying for people who are actually being kicked, i have had this problem often enough, but can I ask a (kinda not really related) question? Is there a way to turn of the notification of when a friend comes online. The little pop up box? Its just that people crashing tends to send a flurry of pop ups telling me that they are online, no offline, onli-no-offline, no they are online.
Wait, they have just logged off. Or crashed

Seems like a memory leak or similar issue. As the odds of the client crashing goes up either due to a. the number of times I tele and greater chance or b. the longer the client runs the greater the chance a tele will fail.

I say this because i have been at my club (or sother place) for several hrs at one time then try to tele and seems to crash ~25% of the time.

On fle less then a hr or so put tele several times. After the 5 or 6th time pretty certain I am going to crash ~50% chance going forward.

Either way you cut it there is a issue with tele. It is not reliable after a certain amount of time or/and usage.

I don't think there's a way to do it without turning your friend's 'availability to see you on line', off. If you ever find another way, please let me know...

I know lol. I don't want to turn them all off because there are some people who I don't mind the pop-ups. But when it is people crashing who I don't see that often...well it just really annoys me.

You can turn the pop-up box off for everyone, but not selectively.

Yes.....usually the only time the crash on TP will happen to me is if I've been on for a while.....but recently it has been as soon as I log in.... I can TP maybe once or twice and then the next time I try to relocate....I get the black screen...either no TP bar at all.....or it crawls along at such a slow pace that I have to just log out and re-log. Maybe it was just a sunday issue....who knows. *shrug*

Word to the wise: always put your clothes back on before TP'ing...

I am having this issue as well, matter of fact just got kicked trying to goto a mainland parcel. Guess i'll stay in my sim from now on.

Oh my yes I always do that since I wound up in pg completely nude and wasnt planing on going there.

lol sally, its not you. there are about 5 peeps wo must be having serious problems wit crashing.
I really don't want to turn them all off. I will have to just leave it and get annoyed.

I get a feeling of deja vu here....exactly what's happening to me.

I crashed three or four times while TP'ing yesterday, thought it might be server issues, as I don't usually crash that much
