512m Discount or wasted?

This should be an easy question, but I'm having a brain fart today.

Currently I own (rent) over 1300 m of land. There's a couple of parcels next to me that I'd love to have. If I sell the 512 land that I currently own, but rarely use, will I be able to purchase part of the land and use the 512 for free as part of my total?

Thank you

You can apply the 512m tier to the new land, if that's the question. It doesn't matter if it's your Premium 512m worth of tier or tier you are paying for.

If you mean, is the 512 square meter premium bonus just regular tier, so you can sell that first 512 square meters of land and apply the tier elsewhere... the answer is yes.

(though I still have my first land from three years ago. :) )

If you are talking about the free 512m of tier that comes with a Premium account then ...

That 512 can be used anywhere on Mainland.
My First Land 512 is long sold, but the 512 of tier lives on as part of a bigger level of tier.

Bradley, as I recall (correct me if I'm wrong, or I'm sure Pep will) you are on an estate? None of that applies to land on an estate. No free 512 there, only on Mainland.

You're correct Treasure. I always forget that everything is diferent for estate property.

I guess I'll still keep the 512 for now...(unless someone is looking for 512m of mainland

<= Sorry for the shameless plug

Oh, yeh, if this is estate land... Linden tier means nothing on estates. And there's no point in selling your land on mainland now: land is really cheap right now.

So let me understand this -

If a parcel is bigger than a 512 lot, the 512 free tier that comes with a premium membership can be applied toward/subtracted from/the total tier for that bigger lot?

So basically they prorate it?

On mainland, yeah.....I have 1536 on mainland but only pay for 1024.

Not prorate it, but just discount/remove the tier for the 512 and you pay for the rest.

It's simpler than that. It's just tier.

You get 512 square meters of tier as part of the premium account package. If you pay US$5 a month more, you get a total of 1024 square meters of tier. If you pay US$8 a month, you get 1536 square meters of tier...
