Hiyas..
Got a friend who's trying to change her password and has forgotten her security password. It's been 2 1/2 years since she looked at that stuff so I'm not surprised she forgot it.
Apparently, she's half way though the process and her old password doesn't work any more and can't seem to assign a new one because of the security question. Support and billing don't seem interested in helping her, even though she's supplying everything _but_ the answer.
Anybody deal with this before? Right now, she's thinking her account is totally toast, which really sorta sucks. Any ideas?

Huh, I reopened an account with a lost password and question. The password recovery page eventually gave me a number to call and they asked me questions like "who are some people in your friends list" until they were satisfied.

Huh, I reopened an account with a lost password and question. The password recovery page eventually gave me a number to call and they asked me questions like "who are some people in your friends list" until they were satisfied. "Give me the names of the Partisans!!! _____________________

She says she's talked to billing & support and given them everything except the answer to the security question.. Then maybe it's a matter of calling several times until she wins the lottery and draws Helpful Linden. Or, maybe this is a case in which she says: "I want to speak with your manager." |
