Ims to email

I have been having my offline Im s being sent to email for a while now and no issues, then about 2 or 3 days ago they stoped.... They are not longer sent to my email, and yeah its checked in prefs.... Did something change within sl?

Not as far as I know, I'm still getting them. Did you check your setting on the web site?

Some IMs have been sent to my email while I am online and in conversation with others over the last few days.

Gmail's been putting some of my offlines in spam since last week. I keep telling it to stop but everything has a different return address.

I have experienced fairly frequently lately that phenomenon of dropped IMs in the middle of conversations. I've had a couple of awkward exchanges later cleared up when I log on the next day and get an IM that was "saved" in the middle of an ongoing exchange. I also have one friend who, whenever I have an IM window open with her, almost ALWAYS shows up as "Friend's Name is typing..." for two minutes before I finally figure out she isn't.

And I do NOT have my account configured for offline e-mails of IMs, so that has nothing to do with it.

With gmail perhaps? A short time ago something changed there, and even if you have a filter, it might send emails to spam that aren't. I ended up adding and changing my gmail filters selecting "never send to spam". Isn't it the stupidest that they would spam something we want?

Anyways, just received IMs in my email a few hours ago, so check your emails spam folder?

For the other respondants, isn't it funny to hear your email ding, look, and find a line from your IM conversation? LOL

Anyways, that can easily happen during TPs I've found. So just like you wait to TP when seeing someone's "typing arms" as they are about to say something? I delay my TP if I see someone's "is typing" in an IM tab first and have less of that...

I think something is definitely up with emails. My POS system and visitor counters email daily sales information and I've not been getting those for a couple of weeks now. The objects compile and email their reports, but they don't show up in my email at all.

I got all my "IM to email" settings reset a few weeks ago, without my doing anything active about them.

I wish they'd do "IM to jabber".

Add a filter for *@im.agni.lindenlab.com and you'll be good. I had to do that about a month ago.

Thanks for asking this question!! I thought I'd 'reset' something. I've been having the same issues too with IM's and emails. However, I don't think it's specific to gmail, my email on yahoo is affected as well...

mm... a little annoying...as is all the crashes I've been living through lately..

Not only am I getting offline im's when I'm online, I'm also not getting all my im's to email when I'm offline. I had a weird conversation when someone sent me a message saying there was a problem and I only got half of the im's about it, leading to me not being able to make any sense of the issue until I logged in and saw the full text.

now that you mention this, I have not got my daily visitor lists either... hmmmmm
