ok so i cant figure out how to play media in my shop. i keeps setting different movie addresses and when i try to play them,.,.. its just a black black screen.. grr.. help

What are some media urls that don't work?

Can you watch the same urls at a different location?

Are you using a scripted media viewer, and if so, which one?

Have you read the section on playing media in the Knowledge Base?

Have you watched the video tutorial on playing media?

I copied the KB article I just found into http://land-answers.wiki.zoho.com page.

Also if you look at the Second Life wiki you'll find useful information there at http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Play_media

I'm not giving you the precise location of Torley's video on playing media in world..firstly because I can't be bothered looking for the precise url address among all the other video tutorial titles..and secondly because it will be useful if you look yourself (during which time you'll find loads of other useful stuff amongst Torley's treasure trove of goodies).

I mean that in the nicest possible way..have fun (I know you will..with Torley in charge..)

also (you might have done this but meh, it happened to me) make sure that your screen is set to the *default media texture for your parcel.
