what would make her not be able to see particle effect fire when she can see other particle effects? she has a 7950 video card. her settings are same as mine far as we can tell. is there some hidden system requirement for particle effect fire?

There shouldn't be. What level are her particles set at in Preferences?

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Not my area of expertise, but I have been experiencing lag issues lately that cause particles to load late. Particles are processed on the client side, so this is likely an issue with her system processing the effect slowly. Maybe if she turns the particle setting DOWN, it will process faster.

From: Ann Launay There shouldn't be. What level are her particles set at in Preferences? at first they were low like 1024 i had her out it up to mine at 4096 and still cant see them. I saw em just fine. When she tried installing windlight it defaulted her to high settings so she oughta be fine that way.
